Terms of Service
1. Hollowed House of El is a non-profit website which recognizes the Smallville writers as the creator of Smallville and related merchandise and seeks only to have some fun with no disrespect intended.
Hollowed House of El provides its service to you subject to the following terms of service (TOS), which may change from time to time. It is up to the individual to keep up with these changes. Such alterations will be indicated on the main page. Failure to comply with the current version of the TOS is grounds for deletion of your account.
2. Hollowed House of El provides a free place to read and submit stories regarding the Smallville Universe. Access to the World Wide Web is needed. No guarantees are made.
3. You agree to (a) abide by the submission rules/guidelines posted on this site; (b) upload the local laws as applicable to your actions when viewing and posting to this site; (c) honour the final decisions made by the staff; (d) check for updates to the TOS and submission rules.
4. No-one below the age of sixteen (and thereby a child) may post stories on this site.
5. Hollowed House of El will not collect personally identifiable information about you (your real name, address, telephone number etc) unless you voluntarily provide it and then we will take all reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us. This information will not be passed on outside this website.
6. This site is maintained by volunteers with normal and hectic lives, therefore we cannot guarantee that there will always be someone present to moderate and/or administer to the site. We rely on our members to alert us to any problems that may arise on this site and which appear to have slipped under our radar.
7. Hollowed House of El does not share stories with other websites, fanzines or sources without the permission of the author.
8. Hollowed House of El reserves the right to remove any material that we believe is offensive/inappropriate for this website at any time.
9. When submitting a story please provide a working email address so that we can contact you for future information.
10. Hollowed House of El will act ruthlessly on the immediate proof of plagiarism by any author on this website with permanent suspension. Such action is also applicable to any person (author or reviewer) that harasses any other member, uploads offensive material (underage sex etc) and/or interferes with the running of this website.
We reserve the right to delete your account from this website without any prior notice if anything like the above occurs.
